Fedora and Open Source Event at GCECT, Kolkata

A Fedora and Open Source Event was held at my college (Govt. College of Engg. and Ceramic Tech.) on 2nd February, 2010. I was really excited to meet FOSS experts. However my experience consisted of  a mixed bag of pluses and minuses.

The event was attended by A. Mani,  Abhisekh Jha, Indranil Das Gupta, Jayanta Nath, Proshun Prodhan, Stephanie Das Gupta among others. More details about the event can be found here.

Techtroniks 2010

TechtroniKs 2010. Our Annual Techno-Management festival concluded on 10th April with Jagriti, the Cultural event signing off things. Cactus pricked our imaginations and left everyone wanting for more...

There were very less participants from other colleges on-site. Around 150.

However on-line we had around 300 participants in Treasure Hunt. Treasure Hunt was the National Level Event that was won by IEM.
